Excellent fresh dim sum from an ample selection. Shrimp rice roll, sui mei, Xiao Long Bao, Seared Chive Dumpling, Har Gao, are all excellent. Speedy service from a menu --- no traveling carts. Pleasant light setting. Relatively inexpensive. Informative website.

Dim sum was on point. Everything came out efficiently. I've been looking for a Dimsum spot on the peninsula that's not too far from Belmont, and I think I found my favorite one.

This place should be rated higher than 3.6! I'd give it at least 4. The staff is SO friendly, and service is incredibly fast. There are a LARGE amount of items on the menu, and all pretty affordable. It's an excellent place for large groups given the big space, rotating tables, and plates designed for sharing. We came here with a group of 9 total and were able to order 7-10 dishes to try - and everyone loved it! The highlight was the chow mein - this was unexpected given this is fairly standard at most restaurants. But the chow mein is different here! noodles are thinner, and flavor is bold. 10/10 recommend. You can't visit Yum Cha without trying this. We also enjoyed the shrimp dumplings and daikon cake. I love dim sum and I'll totally be back here for more!

Generous servings! All dim sum items are amazing as well as their cooked food. The rice rolls are their specialty, get shrimp or peking duck one! Shrimp and chive pan fried dumpling is the best and their lava bun is always a hit. snow pea shoots stir fried with garlic, xo string beans, fried hong kong noodles with seafood, salt and pepper calamari, chicken special, claypot fried rice are all authentic. Get Chrysanthemum tea if you want no caffeine and refreshing.

Went back for more dimsum and to try the Singaporean noodles because it looked good on another table. Singaporean noodles was cooked with curry which I thought was just ok. It did have big pieces of shrimp which I liked. BBQ pork egg noodles were ok. Will pass on the giant meatballs next time. Will definitely get the shumai again. Loked the wonton soup especially the wonton itself filled with well seasoned ground pork and piece of shrimp.

Yummy for dim sum!! This was my second time coming here and I was as pleasantly surprised. It's on el Camino so there's parking in the back and the lots and 2 entrances depending on where you come from. No one pushing carts on the Saturday morning but the menu was fine- everything I got was so good. The servers were actually attentive and brought me what I needed quickly and overall food was good. Ambiance is of a regular dim sum- no music but just families having a good time eating and drinking their tea. I will come back from any dim sum craving!

We stopped by Yum Cha Palace for lunch on a Sunday around 11am and were able to get seated immediately. We ordered 6 dishes in total and the highlights were definitely the spareribs in black bean sauce, baked BBQ pork bun, and duck rice crepe roll. My favorite was definitely the duck rice crepe roll but probably because I'm a huge fan of duck. I've never seen any other dim sum place put duck in the rice rolls before, I would 100% come back for this. Overall I thought the dishes were good quality and reasonably priced. I would give 4.5 stars but rounding up for that duck rice roll, delicious.
